Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") define the conditions for the use of the smartphone application "MJScore" (hereinafter "Application") provided by MJScore (hereinafter "we" or "us") between customers who use the Application (hereinafter "Users") and us.

Users are deemed to have agreed to all provisions of these Terms by installing and starting to use the Application.

Article 2 (Use of the Service)

The primary purpose of the Application is to enable Users to record, calculate, and manage mahjong scores.

Users shall use the Application at their own responsibility and shall bear full responsibility for all actions taken using the Application and their consequences.

Smartphones, communication devices, communication means, electrical power, and other requirements necessary for using the Application shall be prepared at the Users' expense and responsibility.

Article 3 (Account Management)

When registration of user information is required for using the Application, Users shall provide true, accurate, and complete information.

Users shall strictly manage their registered information (email address, password, etc.) under their own responsibility to prevent unauthorized use.

We may regard actions performed using registered passwords as actions by the Users themselves.

Article 4 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in the following acts when using the Application:

• Acts that violate laws, court judgments, decisions, orders, or legally binding administrative measures
• Using the Application for gambling with money or other valuables, or other gambling acts or similar acts
• Acts that may harm public order or good morals
• Acts that infringe upon intellectual property rights such as copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights, honor rights, privacy rights, or other legal or contractual rights of us or third parties
• Acts that cause problems to the Application's servers or network systems, or intentionally exploit Application bugs
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling the Application's source code, or other acts of analyzing, copying, modifying, or adapting the Application
• Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Application
• Other acts deemed inappropriate by us

Article 5 (Data Handling)

Backup of score data and other data (hereinafter "User Data") input and saved by Users using the Application shall be the Users' responsibility. We provide no guarantee regarding the storage or backup of User Data.

Even if User Data is lost due to server failures, device changes, application uninstalls, etc., we shall bear no responsibility.

Article 6 (Intellectual Property Rights)

All intellectual property rights related to the Application, including copyrights, patent rights, trademark rights, belong entirely to us or those who have granted licenses to us.

Copyright to score data and other content input by Users on the Application belongs to the Users who input it. However, we may use this data free of charge (including statistical processing in a form that does not identify individuals) to the extent necessary for providing, improving, and analyzing the Service.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

1. We provide no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, etc. of the Application's calculation results. Even if there are errors in calculation results, we bear no responsibility.

2. We have no involvement in and bear no responsibility for any actions taken by Users using the Application's calculation results (including but not limited to monetary exchanges between Users, exchange of goods, contract conclusion, etc.).

3. We bear no responsibility for any disputes, troubles, or damages (including but not limited to those related to illegal acts such as gambling, mental distress, other monetary damages) that arise between Users or between Users and third parties due to the use of the Application. Such disputes shall be resolved by Users at their own responsibility and expense.

4. We bear no responsibility for damages incurred by Users due to natural disasters, server downtime, or other causes not attributable to us.

5. We may stop or suspend provision of all or part of the Application without prior notice to Users for reasons such as maintenance.

6. Regarding damages suffered by Users in connection with the use of the Application, we bear no liability for compensation except in cases of our intentional or gross negligence.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms of Service)

We may change these Terms at any time without notice to Users when deemed necessary.

The revised Terms of Service shall take effect from the time they are posted within the Application, and Users who continue to use the Application after changes to the Terms are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

Article 9 (Personal Information Handling)

We shall appropriately handle Users' personal information based on our separately defined "Privacy Policy".

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law.

For disputes arising between Users and us regarding the Application or these Terms, Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive agreed court of first instance.
